Introducing an entirely new kind of sensory textile that stimulates your senses with captivating sound and visual effects in concert with your smart phone, tablet or laptop.
This engaging touch-sensitive textile encourages you to connect with your body, with others, and with the surrounding soundscape, fostering comfort and a sense of connection while playing the sensory surface.
With an array of pre-recorded sound palettes to choose from, users can immerse themselves in a personalized experience as they play the touch-sensitive surface of the embroidered textile, creating a unique soundscape in real time with each touch. Simultaneously, corresponding moving imagery will appear on the device’s screen, as users swirl, tap and swipe their hands over the Embroidered Touch textile’s surface. Each textile comes with the Embroidered Touch app.
The exquisite embroidery design on top of the Shibori-dyed textiles is inspired by the concept of inclusivity, promoting wellbeing. The Shibori-dyed textile example in the photo is the first edition of Embroidered Touch Textiles. Notably, this base textile is crafted by talented artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities, further enhancing the uniqueness and value of this product.
